11 Days to Go!!!!!

This is going to be the hottest cyclocross race this side of Europe right here in Victor, Idaho. Victor you ask? Yep, neighbor to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and nestled in the Tetons, makes us the perfect place to kick off the 2008 cross season.
Moosecross will be held in conjunction with the Grand Teton Brewery's Octoberfest which is located on the course! Everyone receives a moosecross pint glass which are surely to become a collectors item.
We are making this a killer event. Crazed cyclocross announcers, spectators ringing cowbells
(some limited edition moosecross cowbells will be handed out at the race, but you might want to BYOB –bring your own bell), heck we are even printing up custom course marking tape! It will be like you are racing in Europe.
Never raced cross? No big deal, mountain bikes are perfect and remember Fun is the official "F" word @ moosecross. The city helped build us a short track (1.2 miles) it has fun features like whoop-de-dos, banked turns, a section where you hop off your bike and run over some barriers, as well as bike path and dirt straightaways. You'll love it. There are race categories from beginner to pro, even a U12 division. Also there will be a best costumed racer/spectator prize. …time to dig out that gorilla suit that’s just sitting in your closet. This event is not to be missed.
Still feeling apprehensive? Then get a taste for cyclocross at our free cross clinic @ snowking park in Jackson, Thursday September 18th 6pm.
Check out this cyclocross video if you need a better idea
(don't be scared of all the lycra)
See you on the 20th

Moose Cross course work day report
We focused on removing the large rocks from some of the straight sections and also added a new section of trail from the "Narrows" to the "Run-Up" berm.
Getting some water on the course and rolling it is the next priority.
